Fine Decorative Boxes: published in 1998, has far more text discussing many more alternatives and the illustrations are the actual photos taken during the making of the projects.  When I delivered the material for this at the beginning of 1998 I full expected great swathes of my sometimes wordy text to be mercilessly axed by the editor.  In fact, barely a word was changed except for the deliberately misspelling of words like color, miter, jewelry – that sort of thing [sorry, US visitors!].  Actually, if it hadn’t been for this fact I would have been tempted to think that they had copied my disc straight onto their computer and pressed ‘print’.
